About Library
Behali Degree College Library came into existence along with the foundation of the college in 1989. With a collection in excess of more than thirteen thousand books, it is one of the best college libraries in the Biswanath district. The library has also developed E-journal facility through N-LIST, INFLIBNET. The library is computerized by maintaining book database with the use of SOUL 2.0 Software. Reading facilities are available in the library. The reading section is divided in two parts, one for students and another for teaching and non-teaching staff. To motivate the users the library provides “Best Library User Award” since 2018. This award is offered to one student in every year for best utilizing the library resources. Facility of Book Requisition Register is available in the library through which student can recommend their required books. In addition to all above the library has taken an initiative to motivate students towards book donation through Book Bank. The passed out students donate minimum two books to the Book Bank for the benefit of the students of the college.
